Coconut oil: natural defense against cancer?
Oil, pulp, milk and other products derived from coconut have always been the basis of the life of many Asian populations, the Pacific and many islands such as Samoa and the Philippines.
Until a few decades ago none of the inhabitants of these areas would have ever dreamed of questioning the nutritional, therapeutic and pharmacological virtues of what is called “the tree of life”: the coconut and all the products obtained from it were present in the life of everyone since before birth (the pregnant women for example used to sprinkle the belly of coconut oil every day to prevent stretch marks and encourage a quicker and painless delivery) to death.
Then, a few decades ago, things started to change … for the worse.
