A study reveals the link between consumption of industrial products and the increase in obesity
A Europe divided into two, with an increasingly succulent north of products that are not good for health, and a south that resists, with peaks of excellence such as Italy and exceptions such as Spain, Malta and Cyprus, which tend to approach to the countries of Northern Europe (with worrying obesity rates). It is a two-speed continent that emerges from the analysis coordinated by the nutritionists of the University of São Paulo, in Brazil, in collaboration with several European universities in 19 European countries. The work was published in a special issue of the journal Public Health Nutrition dedicated to the topic, with many other research coming from many countries (but not from Italy, unfortunately).
